Alpha Explorer Automatikuhr 36 mm

The watch is great. The design, the proportion are perfect and it's super accurate. Since I got it I haven't adjusted the time and for like 20 days it still shows the correct time. Just amazing. The only thing that is not ok is the loom on the hands and 3, 6 and 9. It's lower than the loom on the other hours. Otherwise the loom is internal. I don't know how they did it but it really stays for the whole night. I have more loom watches, but none of them stays for the whole night like this one. The only problem is you can barely see what time is it, because of the poor loom on the hands. It Alpha had only applied the same loom substance that is on the 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 5, 7, 8 also on the hands and on 3, 6 and 9 it would be perfect.

I have a few Explorer homage watches, and this is my favorite so far. I agree with all the earlier comments from other reviewers in this Alpha web site. There are quite a few YT videos out there that describe the watch but most of it already outdated as latest version included few improvements (e.g. the milled clasp, alpha logo in the dial).

My quick review, a clean black dial, good proportion 36mm case, good applied indices and hands. The lume is better that I expected (from YT reviews) although IMO the bracelet can have rooms for improvement. Standard delivery took 7 calendar days for parcel to deliver (to Malaysia).

I intend to keep the watch for some years.

Very satisfied with this purchase. Despite its homage design, this watch represents value for money in the sense that the build quality and parts used punch above its price. The hackable Miyota movement was running at +16s per day for me. The lume on the hands no longer have the green hue appearance that you find in previous models. Under neutral light, the lume on the hands appear fully white, matching the white indices perfectly. The watch now comes with an oyster bracelet fitted with a milled clasp, unlike the stamped clasp found in earlier versions, giving the watch a more solid feel. The after sales service was excellent. Tomas the owner was very responsive and friendly when I reached out for help (Thanks Tomas). The only thing to keep in mind is the long shipment time associated with standard shipping, as well as the difficulty in tracking standard shipment. Although the parcel eventually arrived after 3-4 weeks (to Australia), I would suggests buyers to opt for courier service if they want a faster and more trackable shipment method.

Just received the Blue Explorer and its blue to purple dial is stunning. Again the quality of this watch for the price is ridiculous if you can find a homage explorer for this price Good Luck. Delivery is fast and the communication with Thomas is brilliant. Thanks again love it.

Have to say the Alpha Explorer is beautiful! The dial is stunning with its applied indices I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. Even the bracelet is solid fits the lugs nice and snug and the clasp is better just squeeze the two buttons to open. Sapphire crystal on a watch with this price point is fantastic. I absolutely love it , I been wanting this watch for two years because I was afraid it was not going to be any good. Man was I surprised and it’s so comfortable on the wrist , won’t being coming off any time soon. Thank you very much Thomas.
